‘’ Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you’’ Educating judeos

And I will bless those who bless you, and those who curse you I will curse, and in you all the tribes of the earth shall be blessed. (Genesis 12.3 LXX)

Many judeos use this Scripture as a justification for worshiping the modern nation of Israel/ Jewish people in the place of Jesus Christ. This promise was made to Abram (before his name was changed). This promise was to him before the nation of Israel existed. It does promise Abram that he will be made into a great nation in the other verses. This was to be his descendants who would be a separated nation unto God to bring about the Christ.

Another verse with ‘’ Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you’’ is in Numbers. He lay down and rested like a lion and like a whelp. Who will raise him up? Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you. (Numbers 24.9 LXX)

Some very poor translations of Numbers have something like ‘’the nation is like a mighty lion’’. However, the word nation is not in the Greek text. It was inserted here making the verse a stumbling block for many uneducated Christians. This Scripture which continues from verses 9 to 25 is about the coming of Christ ‘’A star shall dawn out of Jacob’’. To take away the point of the Bible, which is the redemption of Adamic people, and give the focus to the modern nation of Jewish- Israel is simply anti-Christian.

Now that we have briefly gone over these verses about Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you, we can look at the correct way a truth-loving Christian understands these verses.

God made these promises to Abraham so that a remnant would stay separated from the world until Jesus came to redeem Adamic kind. There is a brief explanation of this in Hebrews. Abraham obeyed God because he had persuasion that God is true and he wanted a place in salvation. Having been called by persuasion, Abraham obeyed to go forth to a place which he was about to receive for an inheritance, and went forth not understanding where he went. By persuasion, he sojourned in a land of promise, being of a different race, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the coheirs of the same promise, For he looked to a city having the foundations of which God is the Builder and Maker. (Hebrews 11.8-10)

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are all heirs of the promise. Now what is the promise? Scripture tells us. And the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. It does not say, ‘’And to the seeds,’’ as upon many, but as of one, ‘’And to your Seed,’’ Who is the Anointed. (Gal. 3.16) Now we see the promise made to Abraham was about the coming of Jesus Christ. It was not about the nation of Israel or the modern Jewish people.

This revelation should make it clear to any judeo that Christ is salvation and the fulfillment of God’s plan. The Christ-hating nation of Israel or Jews or any other people, particularly those who hate Christ have no part in salvation. Who is the liar, except the one denying that Jesus is the Anointed? This is the anti Anointed, the one denying the Father and the Son. (1 John 2.22)

Jews do not accept Jesus as the Son of God, therefore they are not God’s chosen people nor are they under any special protection, they have no part in the salvation of Christ and without Christ they are not able to have the Father either. Everyone denying the Son neither has the Father; the one confessing the Son also has the Father. (1 John 2.23)

He who is not with Me is against Me. And he who does not gather with Me, scatters. (Matt.12.30)
